Ontario’s New COVID-19 Paid Sick Days: Reimbursement for Employers

The Ontario Government now enacted Bill 284, COVID-19 Putting Workers First Act, 2021, providing eligible employees with up to three days of paid leave for COVID-19 related reasons. Paid leave will be provided by the Employer, who will then be eligible to apply to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board for reimbursement.
