Merit recognizes two Apprentice of the Year Awards – one for northern Alberta and one for southern Alberta. This award recognizes excellent achievement, both on-the-job and in school.
The Merit Construction Employee of the Year Award is a leader in the workplace, passionate about what they do, positive and goal oriented. Two awards are presented annually – one for northern Alberta and one for southern Alberta.
The Merit Member of Excellence is a Merit member company that is a leader in their industry, reflected through outstanding project involvement, employee culture, charitable work and community participation.
Merit Information Technology Leadership Award recognizes the leader in the technology sector of the construction industry. This award honours those who use information technology (IT) innovation to accelerate their business. This individual utilizes IT to its full extent ensuring value for their customer and their business.
Two awards are presented annually – one for northern Alberta and one for southern Alberta.
Merit Office Administration Excellence of the Year Award celebrates those who are the heart of their organization. This individual is the one known for their optimism, enthusiasm, and positivity in the workplace. They provide exceptional customer service to clients and teammates alike.
The Merit Finance Leadership Award acknowledges an individual who provides leadership that goes beyond the balance sheet and financial reporting. This individual consistently provides full and fair disclosure, sound financial management, integrity, and a commitment to ethical business practice. This individual applies an innovative approach to their organization, customers, and overall financial processes.
The Career and Technology Studies (CTS) in Construction Award recognizes individual achievement, while partnering education with the construction industry. This award encourages Alberta high school students with interest in construction to excel in their studies so they can attain their goals.
